Hi, poetry lover! Carlos is out of town for a few days, so Jesse and I are out here by our little selves. This is the first time Carlos has left the house without Jesse for more than a few hours. Carlos is Jesse’s PERSON. They are always together and have a strong connection. Whenever Carlos leaves the house, Jesse gets this look on his face like:

Jesse was definitely missing him the first couple days, but day 3 was a turning point. We had a lot of indoor playtime, played fetch/hung out by the creek, and ended the day with a really good training session. We were communicating!

That’s all that’s really going on right now…other than my upcoming book, which I have a proof copy of in my hands. I’m revealing the cover on IG on June 6th and will also share the official release day then.

A little newsletter update: I’m a bit burnt out from Writing/Revision/Submission Tips, so I’m not going to include those anymore (unless something comes to me). AND I’m going to start sharing an unshared poem of mine in each newsletter because I have a ton and why not?!
