Poems in Ink & Marrow and Full House Literary

I had a new poem published in Issue 11 of Ink & Marrow in February and another in Issue 1 - 2026 of Full House Literary earlier this month.

Ink & Marrow is one of my favorite literary journals. It’s run by poets I met during my two rounds of Megan Falley’s Poems That Don’t Suck workshop. One thing I love about this journal is that most issues contain only 7 to 11 poems, making them intimate and digestible.

This is my third time being published in Ink & Marrow.

It’s also my third time being published in Full House Literary, and it’s always an honor to work with the folks over there.

Enjoy the excerpts below!

Winter Woman

Other Names for Seasonal Depression

Everything I know of hunger and hibernation. Evenings in with my
sleet of thoughts. Body clock out of sync in the middle of this
nowhere. My ache reeks of evergreen, my bedroom of manufactured
vanilla and cardamom. What do you believe in when the last smear of
light fades beneath the snow? Why do tiny things break me more . . .

Circe

Poison, Razor Blades, and Other Treacherous Things in the Candy Bowl of My Heart

Star shrapnel, petals gemmed with frost,
hymns from the sea of forgotten tears.

Blue is my birthright. I am always feeling
        my way through the dark.
